bend, not break
A 50-minute session built on the six processes of ACT. We play with thoughts, feelings and next steps, in a way that fits how your brain already works. Nothing here is a test.
arrive
how full is the battery today?
Tap the cell that fits. There is no good or bad level; it just tells us how to pace the session.
Coach: mirror the level back without fixing it. Low battery shortens every timer by half and suggests one game, seated. Ask about sensory needs (lights, sound, seat) before moving on.
spin + play
spin the hexaflex
Each of the six processes has a small game. Spin to let chance pick, or tap a process to choose it yourself.
Coach: two games is plenty; one is fine. After each, ask one question only: “What did you notice?” Let silence work. If a game lands badly, name it as data about the game, not the person.
pivot cards
which pivot would you reach for?
Everyday moments. Pick the process you would try. There are no wrong answers; most moments have two or three good doors.
Your pick and some notes will appear here.
Coach: invite the person to bring a moment from their own week as the last card. Ask “what would the smallest version of that pivot look like?”
close
your pocket card
It fills in as you play. Copy it into your notes app, or leave it here. Nothing on this page is saved or sent anywhere.
whatever is on this card is enough.
Coach: close with “what would you like to keep, and what would you like to leave here?” Both answers are fine. Remind them that between sessions, if you started, that counts.
